Bicarbonate of Soda vs Baking Soda: What You Need to Know

Bicarbonate of soda and baking soda are the same ingredient—sodium bicarbonate. The difference is just in the name: Ireland and the UK use “bicarbonate of soda,” while the US calls it “baking soda.”
