Consumer Involvement
Consumer Representatives play an integral role in the governance, planning and delivery of research across OPTIMAL. Their involvement ensures that research priorities and outcomes reflect the needs and experiences of patients, families and the broader community.
How we are involving consumers in OPTIMAL
Consult
Consumers provide feedback on materials and ethical concerns for new projects.
Involve
As members of working groups, project teams, and the Stakeholder Advisory Committee, consumer representatives are directly involved in priority setting activities of the research.
Collaborate
Consumers are invited to participate in conference or interview panels and join future research as partner investigators.
