Preferences for treatments that help to prevent infections in people with blood cancers
Are you an adult who has been diagnosed with one of the following haematological malignancies (blood cancers)?

-
Multiple Myeloma
-
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia
-
Any subtype of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
People with haematological malignancies may be at a higher risk of getting an infection. To help prevent getting infections, certain preventative treatments can be given.
This research study aims to explore personal preferences for different aspects of different treatments that help to prevent infection, such as how you take or receive a treatment, the practicalities of receiving treatment, the risk of side effects, the risks of infection, and any impacts that infections or their treatments may have on treating the blood cancer.

Researchers from Monash University are seeking people to complete an online survey about treatments that help to prevent infections. Participation will involve an anonymous online survey that will take about 30 minutes to complete. After completing the survey, if you choose to provide your email address you will be sent a $20 voucher.
Your responses will help us understand which aspects of infection prevention treatments are most important to patients and how important different treatment aspects are in relation to different levels of infection risk.
